We will pick you up by bus with our guide at the chosen time and place to start the tour. day trip to Morocco. During the bus tour you will enjoy the journey through Malaga and along the Costa del Sol while Our guide will tell you anecdotes and curiosities about Morocco.     We will arrive around 9:30h at Algeciras to start the Fast-Ferry departure for 60 minutes to Ceuta. Enjoy the sea across the strait!       At 11:00h, once in Ceuta, we will start our adventure to set foot on Moroccan soil and we will make a panoramic tour of the city of Ceuta where we will pass in front of the Royal Walls and the Moat of San Felipe. Once we arrive at the border crossing point, have your documents ready to cross the border, our guide will facilitate this process and once we cross the border he will begin the scenic bus route from Ceuta to Tetouan for 30 minutes while enjoying the scenery Get your camera ready to take the best pictures! During the tour we will make a stop for you to take your best snapshot. We will be in Tetuan for 5 hours, once here we will take a pleasant walk where our local guide will show you the most iconic areas of the Moroccan city, we will begin at Moulay El Mehdi SquareIf you have seen the series ‘El tiempo entre costuras’, you will recognise this circular square where you can find the cathedral of Our Lady of Victory. We will continue without loss of detail towards the narrow streets of the old Jewish quarter or Mellah, with its beautiful Bengualid synagogue. We will see the Hassan II SquareThe Royal Palace or Khalifa Palace, the Archaeological Museum and the Centre of Modern Art are located here.  Don’t lose sight of anything!   The souk of TetouanA real journey through time that will allow you to get to know the work of its craftsmen. We will continue through the Medina of Tetouan, Characterised by its white walls and green doors, it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the smallest in the country. In the middle of the day we will stop for lunch at a typical Moroccan restaurant where you can enjoy traditional folklore while you try a delicious Cous Cous accompanied by the typical The Menta and Arabic pastries. After lunch we will stroll through the commercial area of Tetouan and we will visit some establishments for shoppingas well as visiting the typical Moroccan Berber pharmacywhere you will find a wide variety of natural products and cosmetics. Discover all the benefits of the properties of Argan Oil!     At the time indicated by our guide we will meet again for the return to Ceuta and at 20:30h we will embark to Algeciras to return to the pick up point. Arrival in Algeciras at approximately 21.30h.

Is it possible to do the Morocco Excursion during Ramadan?

Yes, visiting Morocco during Ramadan is like travelling in any other month of the year. However, there are a few things to bear in mind:

  • Shop opening hours tend to vary, with shops opening between 11-12pm and closing early. They usually reopen again around 4pm.
  • Greater difficulty in finding liquor at this time of year
  • If you are a non-Muslim, please do not eat, drink or smoke in public places. However, you can always eat or drink in front of the guide as they are used to non-Muslims during Ramadan.

Can I meet the group in Algeciras and go with my own vehicle?

You can arrive with your own car at the seaport of Algeciras to start the excursion to Morocco.

Choose the pick-up option: Algeciras – Puerto Marítimo de Algeciras and you will be able to join the group directly from this point.

Ideal option if you are also in the area of Tarifa and Costa de la Luz.

Does this tour include entrance fees to monuments?

No, this tour does not include entrance to the interior of any monument. The guided tour in Tetouan takes place outside.

Is there a breakfast stop?

No, you can have breakfast ON the 1-hour ferry trip from Algeciras to Ceuta.

Is it possible to bring food and drink on the excursion?

Yes, we recommend you bring a snack and a drink, usually 1L of water, with you for the activity. 

Is lunch included in the tour?

Yes, this tour includes a typical Moroccan menu: Harira, Pinchitos, Cous-Cous, Mint Tea and Arabian Cakes. In case of any intolerance please get in touch with us to inform us. 

Is there any free time during the excursion?

No, in Tetouan it is easy to get lost in the medina, if this happens it can condition the return to Spain of the whole group, we always go together on this excursion.

Are pets allowed?

No, pets are not allowed in this activity.
