Our guide and coach will collect you at the chosen time and place to start out for Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas. Once you have left the Costa del Sol and Malaga behind, you continue through the beautiful countryside past the white villages of Ardales and Cuevas del Becerro, a mere 10 km from the Caminito del Rey.

The first part of the trip is Setenil de las Bodegas, one of the most beautiful and original white villages in the province of Cadiz. You have one hour of free time to walk around this interesting village and visit the houses built into the cliffs over the famous Cuevas del Sol Street and Cuevas de la Sombra Street in the lower part of the village, this is the closest you may ever be to the “sunny side of the street” and “shady lane”!

Climb up to the Mirador del Carmen where you will have a fantastic panoramic view of the village. Go down Jabonería Street to the Plaza de Andalucía and don’t miss the romantic “Kiss me in the corner” sign. Once the the visit to Setenil is over, it’s time to meet the guide, return to the province of Malaga, and visit Ronda, which is only 17 km from Setenil de las Bodegas.

Once at Ronda bus station you take a one-and-a-half hour guided tour of the main places of interest, starting with a stroll around the outside of the Maestranza bullring, the oldest in Spain. From here, you cross the Alameda del Tajo to Ronda viewpoint. Next on the route is Duquesa de Parcent Square. After this, you see the Town Hall, the Convent of Claridad, the Poor Clares Convent, and the Church of Santa María la Mayor.

We will also visit Don Bosco House MuseumThe museum is an old palace of modernist style from the beginning of the 20th century, with a garden built on the edge of the Tagus with breathtaking views of the city of Ronda, and where we will taste a typical sweet of Ronda: “yemas del tajo”.  As the tour ends, have a glass of Spanish wine while you take in the incredible view of the “Puente Nuevo“, which crosses the gorge over the Guadalevín River.

You have approximately 2 hours’ free time to explore Ronda at your leisure, enjoy the local gastronomy, or explore places, such as: the Old City Walls, the Arab Baths, one of the best conserved in Europe, or, the House of the Moorish King, a palace that dates to the 18th century.

The guide will let you know what time and where you need to be for the return journey.
