The Via Ferrata of El Chorro is located in the Paraje Natural del Desfiladero de los Gaitanes, in El Chorro, an area located in the Guadalhorce Valley and belonging to Álora, surrounded by gorges and walls. most significant climbing and mountaineering activities most visited in Europe. There will be a short trekking on the descent back to our starting point, without missing out on the marvellous views towards the stone bridge that characterises the environment of the Caminito del Rey under the railway tracks, nature and its species that make this tour unforgettable. This activity takes place in small groups so that our guide is close to each participant and you feel as safe as possible.

How to get to the southern access to the Caminito del Rey?

You can get there either by suburban train and get off at the El Chorro train station stop Don’t worry about where to park your car! You can park it in the parking lot at the free parking area in the surroundings of the Rural Tourist Complex La Garganta, at the southern access to the Caminito del Rey: El Chorro.

What if the train to El Chorro is delayed?
Our meeting time is half past one, and we leave the meeting point 15-20 minutes later. Therefore, if you are scheduled to start the activity at 10.30am and the train to El Chorro is scheduled to arrive at 10.35am, don’t worry, you will be able to do the activity without any problem. In case you don’t arrive on time, or if you believe you won’t, please contact the company by phone.
