The boy without a name
The Boy without a name. A boy on crutches in Siem Reap. A fleeting encounter near Angkor that became a memory I have carried ever since.
The newest articles appear first. Scroll through my own thoughts, travel stories and practical notes, at least that is the intention, and occasional unashamed drifting into other places where even angels fear to tread, but fools rush in.
Travellismus: The Blog is a place for the stories, questions and unexpected details that stay with you long after a journey ends. There are definitely no checklist posts or glossy destination slogans. It is where I put the things I noticed, the people I met, the stories worth telling and the places that left something behind long after the suitcase was unpacked. I think the first stories are the ones I cherish most.
Some posts will be more practical. Others will be deeply personal. A few may wander off topic without permission. But each one starts from the same basic idea: the destination matters, of course it does, but so does what you are willing to see while you are there. Most journeys end when you return home. The interesting ones leave questions behind and continue shaping what you remember six months or sixteen years later.
