This trip covers all the essential sights of Egypt, with every detail arranged for you. Start with a direct flight to Luxor, where you’ll board your Nile cruise. Over four nights, visit the temples of Karnak and Luxor, explore the Valley of the Kings, Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Aswan, all with guided visits and time on board your ship. Fly from Aswan to Abu Simbel for a dedicated tour of the famous temples (no overnight coach journeys), then continue by air to Cairo for two nights in your chosen hotel. In Cairo, visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx, Sakkara, Memphis, the Egyptian Museum, the Citadel, and the Grand Bazaar, with meals included where stated. Your local guides handle the details, including airport transfers and entrance tickets.

Day 1: Egypt from Madrid begins – Arrival in Luxor
Your adventure begins with a special direct flight from Madrid to Egypt, landing in to Luxor, the legendary city on the banks of the Nile. On arrival, our team will greet you and assist with visa procedures. Transfer to the dock and board your Nile cruise. Dinner on board and your first taste of a land full of history and mystery.

Day 2: Luxor, Karnak and Luxor Temples – Cruise to Esna and Edfu
Breakfast on board. Morning guided visit to Karnak and Luxor temples, true masterpieces of Ancient Egypt. Wander through Karnak’s hypostyle hall, see the millennia-old obelisks and colossi, and experience the mystery of the Theban Necropolis with the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch on board. Afternoon cruise down the Nile and through Esna lock towards Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.

Day 3: Edfu and Kom Ombo – Temples on the Nile
Breakfast on board. Morning visit to Edfu’s Temple of Horus, the best preserved in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon god. Continue sailing towards Kom Ombo to see the unique temple dedicated to Sobek and Haroeris, gods of the Nile and healing. Lunch and dinner on board as the cruise continues towards Aswan. Overnight in Aswan.

Day 4: Aswan – The High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, and southern landscapes
Breakfast on board. Morning visit to the impressive High Dam and the legendary Unfinished Obelisk, silent witness to pharaonic grandeur. Free time to enjoy the scenery or take part in optional activities. Lunch and dinner on board. Overnight in Aswan, with the unique charm of southern Egypt.

Day 5: Abu Simbel and flight to Cairo
Breakfast on board (may be picnic style depending on flight time). Transfer to the airport for the flight to Abu Simbel and a tour of the majestic temples carved from the rock, dedicated to Ramses II and Nefertari, UNESCO World Heritage Site. Return to the airport and flight to Cairo. Arrival, transfer and check-in at the hotel.

Day 6: Cairo – Giza Pyramids, Sphinx and Sakkara

Breakfast at the hotel. A day dedicated to exploring the Giza Pyramids, the Great Sphinx, and Sakkara, birthplace of the step pyramid. Lunch at a local restaurant included. Afternoon visits or free time. Return to the hotel for overnight.
Day 7: Cairo – Egyptian Museum, Citadel and Grand Bazaar
Breakfast at the hotel. Visit the Egyptian Museum, where you’ll discover pharaonic treasures and the famous mask of Tutankhamun. Continue to the Citadel of Saladin and the Alabaster Mosque, with spectacular views over Cairo. Lunch at a local restaurant. Free time in the Khan el Khalili Grand Bazaar to soak up the Egyptian atmosphere. Return to the hotel for overnight.

Day 8: Cairo – Return to the Madrid
