Discover the magic of Ronda with a guided tour that will take you through the highlights of this historic town. Our Excursion to Ronda and Setenil de las Bodegas departs from Malaga and the Costa del Sol, offering the perfect blend of freedom and expert insight.
We’ll begin by driving through the beautiful Andalusian countryside, passing through Ardales and Cuevas del Becerro on our way to Setenil de las Bodegas. After approximately 1.5 hours, we will arrive in this charming village, known for its homes built under massive rocks. Upon arrival at around 10:00 am, you’ll have about an hour to wander through the streets and experience the surreal beauty of Cuevas del Sol and Cuevas de la Sombra. Don’t forget to visit the “Kiss me in this corner” spot for a picture-perfect moment.
After our Setenil visit, we’ll head to Ronda at around 11:00 am, arriving around 12:00 pm. For those who have opted for the guided tour, we’ll begin a 1.5-hour guided exploration of Ronda’s most famous landmarks. Our expert guide will lead you through the Alameda del Tajo park, known for its stunning viewpoints, and around the Maestranza Bullring, before crossing the Puente Nuevo (New Bridge), where you’ll enjoy spectacular views of the Tajo Gorge and the Guadalevín River.
Next, we’ll explore the historic Old Town, where we’ll visit the Mondragon Palace and the Don Bosco House Museum, before tasting a traditional “Talavera de Ronda” sweet. From the museum’s garden, enjoy one of the best views of Ronda—with the New Bridge perfectly framed by the gorge.
We’ll then continue to the Duquesa de Parcent Square, surrounded by iconic landmarks such as the Town Hall, the Convent of the Poor Clares, and the Church of Santa María la Mayor. You’ll have a chance to continue exploring Ronda’s vibrant streets and landmarks like the Arab Baths, House of the Moorish King, and more.
After the guided tour, you will have 2 hours of free time to further explore Ronda at your leisure, enjoy local gastronomy, or relax in the charming surroundings.
At around 16:00, we will regroup at the bus station and return to Malaga, where we’ll drop you off at the starting point of your excursion.
