An emblematic photo of Mijas Pueblo. a white wall with blue flower pots, that I believe every person that visits takes away among their memories!

Puerto Banús, Marbella, & Mijas Pueblo

Mijas Pueblo still conserves some of its olde worlde charm. A white village nestled into the mountains with spectacular views of the surrounding area. While some may be tempted to ogle the yachts and boats in Banús, I’d say the Saturday market is well worth a visit if time allows. Finish off the day strolling around the old quarter of Marbella.

Discover the Charm of Puerto Banús, Marbella, and Mijas

Embark on a fascinating day trip that will take you through some of the most iconic destinations of the Costa del Sol. Starting from Malaga, our comfortable coach will transport you to the luxurious and vibrant destinations of Puerto Banús, Marbella, and the picturesque Mijas village, all while our expert guide shares fascinating stories and insights into the history and culture of these stunning locations.

Puerto Banús:
Our first stop is the world-renowned Puerto Banús, a glamorous marina that embodies the lifestyle of the Marbella jet-set. Known for its impressive yachts, luxury cars, and upscale restaurants, Puerto Banús is a must-see destination on the Costa del Sol. You’ll have 45 minutes of free time to explore at your own pace—wander along the Walk of the Stars on Avenida José Banús, stroll through Antonio Banderas Square and Julio Iglesias Avenue, or simply take in the stunning views of the marina and its stylish surroundings.

Marbella’s Golden Mile:
Next, we’ll continue to the luxurious Golden Mile of Marbella, where you’ll have 1 hour and 15 minutes to explore at your leisure. Take a scenic walk down the famous Avenida del Mar, a charming promenade connecting Alameda Park to the beachside Paseo Marítimo, adorned with impressive bronze sculptures by Salvador Dalí. You’ll also have time to visit the iconic Los Naranjos Square, wander through Marbella’s Old Town, and discover the enchanting Calle Ancha and its ancient city walls.

Mijas Village:
Our final stop is the charming Mijas Village, nestled in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas. Famous for its whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and vibrant flower-filled pots, Mijas offers a true taste of Andalusian beauty. Spend approximately 3 hours exploring the village at your own pace.

As part of the tour, enjoy a visit to the Centre for Contemporary Art and Culture (CAC) Museum in Mijas, where you can admire collections by legendary artists Dalí and Picasso, including one of the largest collections of Picasso ceramics in Europe. The visit also includes a delightful tasting of Malaga Muscatel wine, offering a true taste of the region’s famous wine culture.

After the museum, you’ll have the chance to explore Mijas further. Visit the Bronze Donkey Statue by the tourist office, the Hermitage of the Virgen de la Peña, and the Mirador del Compás, offering panoramic views of the village and beyond. Be sure to check out the historic Mijas Bullring, which boasts a unique oval shape, and take a walk through the Fortress of Mijas with its impressive gardens and breathtaking viewpoints. Explore the quaint streets, visit the Church of the Immaculate Conception, and discover the Plaza de la Constitución and Plaza de la Libertad, two of the village’s most photogenic squares.

Relax and Reflect:
After a day filled with discovery and exploration, we’ll gather at the designated meeting point for the return journey to Malaga, taking with you memories of an unforgettable adventure through the heart of Andalusia.
