After leaving the Costa del Sol y MalagaWe will continue our panoramic route along the Mediterranean coast into the heart of the Mediterranean Sea. the Axarquia region of Malaga, the eastern part of the province of Malaga. Our first destination is FrigilianaConquered as one of the most beautiful villages in Malaga, here the traditional Andalusian architecture begins to reveal itself, with its cobbled streets and whitewashed houses that make up the old Moorish quarter of this white Andalusian village. You will be able to enjoy during 2 hours of free time strolling through the narrow streets of Frigiliana, such as the Hernando el Darra Street or the El Garral Alleycontemplating the colourful flowers on the balconies and the blue details that decorate the white houses. Marvel at viewpoints offering panoramic views of the valley and the glittering Mediterranean Sea and capture the scene in photographs that will become indelible memories. Even enjoy the local crafts and pottery market at the the Plaza de las Tres Culturas, Known for the coexistence of Jews, Muslims and Christians, a place where you can also take home a gastronomic souvenir such as cane honey or sweet wine from the Axarquia. In Frigiliana we will enjoy a local wine with tapa in one of the local establishments in this wonderful white village. Our next stop is 7 km from Frigiliana: Nerjaa coastal town in Malaga. Enjoy for 3 hours to visit Nerja, known by many because it was where the mythical Spanish TV series Blue Summer’, which was broadcasted in the 80’s and a whole nation chanted ‘del barco del Chanquete no nos moverán’, you can see a replica of the boat ‘La Dorada’ at the park of Verano Azul. One of the things to see in Nerja, without a doubt, is to walk through the old town to the imposing Balcony of Europe, a lookout point on a cliff overlooking the sea, offers breathtaking views as far as the eye can see, and the famous Burriana beachrecognised with a blue flag. Lose yourself among the streets of Nerja, where you will have time to taste the authentic Andalusian gastronomy. From fresh fish dishes to traditional tapas, the food is a delight for the palate and an opportunity to savour the unique flavours of the region. At the time indicated by our guide we will meet again for the return of the Nerja and Frigiliana excursion to the same place of the pick up.
