A week in Iceland: landscapes that defy logic

Iceland is a country where nature sets the pace, and this 8-day journey allows you to discover it calmly and without artifice. From arrival in Reykjavík, the gateway to the island, the itinerary explores some of the country’s most striking landscapes, combining iconic natural sights with less-travelled regions.

The route follows the south coast, with stops at emblematic waterfalls such as Skógafoss and Seljalandsfoss, and at the black-sand beach of Reynisfjara. The journey continues along the famous Golden Circle, home to Þingvellir National Park, the Geysir geothermal area and the impressive Gullfoss waterfall. In the west, the Snæfellsnes Peninsula offers a perfect snapshot of Iceland’s diversity, with cliffs, volcanoes, lava fields and coastal villages.

The north of the country reveals the Lake Mývatn area, one of Iceland’s most active volcanic regions, and the majestic Goðafoss waterfall. The journey is completed in Akureyri, the capital of northern Iceland, before returning to Reykjavík.

The trip includes flights, transfers, an English-speaking tour escort (subject to availability), selected hotels and standout experiences such as access to the Mývatn Nature Baths. A well-balanced itinerary, ideal for travellers visiting Iceland for the first time and keen to understand why it is one of Europe’s most fascinating natural destinations.
