DAY 1. PLACE OF ORIGIN – COSTA DEL SOL: Departure from your place of origin. Lunch at the client’s expense. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2. GRANADA – GYPSY ZAMBRA IN CUEVA – ALBAYZIN: Morning visit to Granada with an official guide, at the foot of the Alhambra. From the Jardines del Triunfo to Recogidas street we can enjoy the walk along avenues full of 19th century buildings until we reach the Cathedral and the Royal Chapel. The Alcaicería, ‘El Albaicín’ and the famous ‘Sacromonte’. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon free time. At the appointed time departure for the Zambra Gitana in a cave with dinner and show (entrance included). Then, back to the hotel for a night-time sightseeing tour of the Albaicín.
DAY 3. ALMUÑECAR – SALOBREÑA – MOTRIL: Morning visit to Almuñécar, a beautiful town on the Tropical Coast bathed by the Mediterranean. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon, visit Salobreña, a village situated on a hill and covered by a blanket of white houses dotted with bougainvillea. The town is dominated by an impressive Moorish fortress which was the residence of the Nasrid kings. Next, visit Motril, which sits on a hill at the foot of the Sierra de Lújar. Its coastal and tourist attractions are complemented by its artistic heritage. Its old quarter is typical of Hispano-Arabic town planning. Highlights include the church of La Encarnación, built on the site of the old main mosque, the Town Hall and the Sanctuary of the Virgen de la Cabeza, the beaches of La Joya, Poniente and Carchuna and the port. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4. LA ALPUJARRA – GUADIX: Morning visit to Las Alpujarras, south of the Sierra Nevada. Due to its remoteness, this region has maintained its customs and traditions. Lanjarón, well known for its springs, Pampaneira, characterised by its narrow streets and terraces hanging over steep slopes, and Capileira. Lunch in a restaurant. In the afternoon excursion to Guadix, situated on the northern slopes of the Sierra Nevada and presided over by the Moorish citadel which dominates the town. Here you can see the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The most famous quarter of Guadix is the one formed by caves carved into the clay soil. Some of the most emblematic are the Ermita Nueva, the Cueva del Padre Poveda and the Cueva-Museo de Artes y Costumbres Populares. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 5. FUENTE VAQUEROS – VALDERRUBIO: In the morning we visit Fuente Vaqueros, the birthplace of García Lorca, then we continue to Vallderrubio where he lived with his family. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon at leisure, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 6. COSTA DEL SOL – PLACE OF ORIGIN: Early morning departure for the place of origin, lunch at the client’s own expense. Arrival, end of our services.
