DAY 1. PLACE OF ORIGIN – PUEBLOS BLANCOS: Departure from the place of origin. Lunch at the client’s own expense. Arrival at the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 2. JEREZ – ROTA: Morning visit to Jerez, famous for its Carthusian horses and its huge wine cellars. You will enjoy a visit to the Tio Pepe winery with tasting (entrance included). The Alcazar, the Cathedral, the Market Square, the Calle Larga, form a complex difficult to forget. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit to Rota, famous for the Spanish-American air base. The old town of Rota, enclosed by ancient walls, preserves the imposing Castillo de la Luna and the church of Nuestra Señora de la O. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 3. ARCOS DE LA FRONTERA – SANLÚCAR DE BARRAMEDA: Morning visit to Arcos de la Frontera, the old quarter extends around the Plaza del Cabildo which opens up to the valley of the Guadalete river like a viewpoint. Through its narrow streets we will discover the architecture of the typical white villages, dotted with monumental buildings such as the castle, the churches of St. Mary and St. Peter, as well as fantastic Andalusian palaces. Return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon, visit to Sanlúcar de Barrameda, with its great beach called “Bajos de Guía” and its fabulous Manzanilla. Chipiona, birthplace of Rocío Jurado and where the Basilica de Regla, Sta. Mª de la O and the highest lighthouse in Andalusia are the most important sights. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 4. VEJER DE LA FRONTERA – CÁDIZ: Morning excursion to Véjer de la Frontera, the old town full of narrow white streets with typical vejeriega houses with fresh patios full of colourful flowerpots and small palaces and churches. On the way back you will visit Chiclana de la Frontera. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit to Cadiz with official guide, the ‘Tacita de Plata’ (little silver cup), which opens onto the ocean like a balcony. You can admire the cathedral, the Puerta Tierra, the Genovés park. Visit to Tavira Tower (entrance included) with the best views of Cadiz. Step into the 18th century, the century of the city’s greatest splendour, thanks to Cadiz’s trade with the Indies. Tavira Tower, the highest point of the old town of Cadiz, with a pioneer attraction in Spain: The Camera Obscura. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 5. PUERTO DE SANTA MARIA – MEDINA SIDONIA: Morning excursion to Puerto de Santa Maria, situated at the end of the bay of Cadiz. A pleasant walk surrounded by palm trees leads to the Castle of San Marcos, and the century-old bullring. Return to the hotel for lunch. Afternoon visit to Medina Sidonia, located in the south of the route of the white villages and famous for its numerous bull-breeding farms. It was Phoenician, Roman and then Muslim, but reached its greatest splendour when it became the seat of the Duchy of Medina Sidonia. It still conserves numerous buildings and places of interest. Return to the hotel, dinner and accommodation.
DAY 6. PUEBLOS BLANCOS – PLACE OF ORIGIN: Early in the morning departure to the place of origin. Lunch at the client’s expense. Arrival, end of the trip.
