Colours of India
Colours of India is a classic 12-day / 11-night tour that takes in some of the great icons of northern India: Delhi, Udaipur, Jodhpur, Jaipur, Agra and Benares (Varanasi). It is a journey designed for those who want to see “the essentials” at a balanced pace, combining heritage, local life and unforgettable experiences.
In Delhi you will discover temples and the monumental panorama of the capital; in Udaipur you will cruise on Lake Pichola and visit the majestic City Palace. Jodhpur impresses with the Mehrangarh Fort and its blue-hued character, while Jaipur reveals its most photogenic side between Amber and the royal palaces. The monumental highlight comes in Agra with the Taj Mahal and the Red Fort, before heading to Benares, where the Ganges sets the rhythm of the city: the Aarti ceremony at sunset, a boat ride at dawn and a visit to Sarnath.
Colours of India includes accommodation, breakfasts and dinners, transfers, Spanish-speaking guides during visits, entrance fees and internal transport (domestic flight and train). A comfortable and comprehensive way to experience India’s most emblematic sights, with the reassurance of a well-organised programme and regular departures throughout the year.

Departures
Colours of India is a regular tour with a wide and well-distributed departure schedule throughout the year, allowing it to suit both trips planned well in advance and bookings made with shorter notice. The programme operates with arrivals in Delhi on specific days of the week and is subject to a minimum of two participants for confirmation.
Departures are mainly concentrated between September and April, a period considered ideal for travelling in northern India due to its milder climatic conditions. On certain high-demand dates — especially between late October and November, as well as during part of February — seasonal supplements may apply and must be reconfirmed at the time of booking.
Likewise, for departures that coincide with special dates such as Christmas and New Year, mandatory supplements apply for gala dinners, with amounts varying according to the selected hotel category. These supplements and specific conditions are clearly detailed during the quotation and confirmation process.
Availability of places depends on various factors, such as hotel occupancy, capacity on internal flights and the Agra–Varanasi train, as well as the number of Spanish-speaking guides available. For this reason, it is recommended to make the booking as far in advance as possible, especially during the high season.
Final confirmation of the trip is subject to payment of the corresponding deposit. Until then, no booking can be considered guaranteed. To find out exact dates, available places and updated conditions, please contact us and we will provide all the detailed information.
Accommodation Types
Accommodation
The Colours of India tour offers accommodation in carefully selected hotels, combining comfort, good locations and standards appropriate to each category. The hotels listed may vary depending on availability, always maintaining the indicated category or a similar one.
The programme is marketed in three hotel categories (A, B and C), allowing the trip to be adapted to different budgets without altering the itinerary or the included services. All hotels offer rooms with private bathrooms and provide daily breakfast. In most cities, dinners at the hotel are also included.
In cities such as Delhi, Jaipur or Agra, hotels are usually located in modern or well-connected residential areas, while in destinations like Udaipur or Varanasi priority is given to accommodation with easy access to the main points of interest. In some cases, the hotel style reflects the architecture and local character of the region.
The hotels indicated in the programme are for guidance only and may be replaced by others of an equivalent category without prior notice. Final allocation is confirmed in the days prior to departure, once the full operational details of the tour have been finalised.
Rooms are allocated on a standard basis. Single rooms are subject to a supplement and limited availability, especially during the high season and on special dates.

Remarks
Remarks
This is a shared regular tour, operated jointly with other programmes, using the same guide and transport. As it is a regular tour, no itinerary changes are permitted and no refunds are given for unused services.
Although the trip is conducted with local Spanish-speaking guides during visits, arrival and departure transfers are generally provided with English-speaking assistance, and on occasion the arrival transfer may also be carried out in English.
Access to Amber Fort in Jaipur is by elephant whenever possible. Due to the limited number of licensed elephants, passengers must start early and wait their turn. If elephants are not available, the ascent will be by jeep, without any entitlement to compensation.
During the monsoon season, the level of the Ganges River may prevent the boat ride in Varanasi from taking place. In such cases, this activity will be cancelled for safety reasons, with no alternative excursion or financial compensation offered.
Domestic flights and trains within India are subject to changes, delays or cancellations, sometimes without prior notice. In such situations, the best possible solution will be sought, without giving rise to claims for missed visits, waiting times or changes to the programme.
On domestic flights within India, one piece of checked luggage of up to 15 kg per person is permitted.
Final confirmation of the trip is subject to payment of the corresponding deposit. Until then, no booking can be considered guaranteed.
